1. BBQ! You dont need an expensive one. I have a half barrell one that cost me £50! But all you need is a big of sun and you're ready to go. Whether it's a quick lunch/dinner with my family, or we invite our friends over, it's always enjoyable. Being out side in the sun instantly improves the day! Stock up on that vitamin D while you can! 2. Go Camping. Even if it's just for one night. Find somewhere peaceful, preferably where you can have camp fires. Go with friends, family, or both. Take the dog, pack the bacon, and go find some tranquility. Even if you "hate camping" go! You will enjoy it, I promise. Take a pack of cards, a few cans of beer/bottles of cider and chill out next to a fire. When picking a campsite, try and find one that isn't massive, the last thing you want is to go for a quiet weekend, and find your surrounded by hundreds of people! They are loads of campsites that have the basics and are serene and beautiful. My advice? Don't forget the can opener! And camping chairs make things a bit more comfortable! 3. Go for a walk Can you see a theme here?! Exercise and fresh air will fill you with goodness!😂 Seriously, its scienctifically proven! Go with friends, family, the dog! It doesnt have to be long, or even in the country side. I've had some lovely walks with my son to town and back! If you think you might get bored 😲 take a camera, take a picnic, do a scavenger hunt, go geo caching! Worried you might get lost? Who are you kidding?! You'll be using google maps on your phone, right?!😂😂 4. Find water, be near it! Go to the beach, find a lake, feed the ducks, hire a row boat, go swimming! Again, the choice is yours. Just make sure you take the sun cream. It's often cooler by water so you don't notice until you're already lobsterised! 😂 My one tip? Don't go to the 'tourist spots'. Find a place that isnt too busy. There's always somewhere along the coast or a canal/lake that is quieter. You'll have more opportunities to see wildlife and to just relax! 5. Visit a zoo. There are lots and most are reasonably priced. My family love a day at the zoo, bird sanctuary, or aquarium. It's great for photo ops and animals are the most loving and entertaining beings. As much as I would love for them to be in the wild, when they have been rescued and are kept in large enclosures, it can be great to see. Go at different times of the year. Not only is the animals behaviour different in different seasons, the plants, which ard oftdn quite exotic in a zoo, will be different too. Have happy, healthy, sumner days,
